Questions & answers
Which Ghost plans does this work with?
Any Ghost site that allows custom integrations: Ghost(Pro) Publisher and above, or self-hosted Ghost. Ghost(Pro) Starter doesn't include custom integrations.
Will it replace images I've already set?
No. Sharecard only fills the Facebook and X image fields when they're empty. Your own images always win.
What if I change a post's title after publishing?
Sharecard makes a new card with the new title, as long as the social image is still the one Sharecard made. If you set your own image, it stays.
What access does Sharecard need?
A Ghost Admin API key from a custom integration. We store it encrypted, use it only to read post titles, upload the card and set the social image, and you can revoke it in Ghost any time.
How does the free trial work?
You get 14 days free from sign-up, no card needed. Subscribe in your dashboard any time to keep Sharecard running after the trial.
How do I cancel?
Open the billing portal from your dashboard. You keep access until the end of the paid period. Cards already added stay on your posts.
